We love sneaking up to the mountains and are amazed at how different the weather is from Highlands Ranch. In early October we took a drive up I-70 in hopes of seeing our first snow of the year...and we weren't disappointed once we got over Berthoud Pass and hit the hot tub at Winter Park.
For Matt and Kaylee's 8th B-Day we had a bunch of friends over to our house for an old-fashioned party in the backyard. The kids had fun bobbing for apples, jumping in the bounce house, pinata and other games. Can't believe it's been 8 years already!

In September, 2009 we traveled back to Iowa for the first time since moving. It was great to spend time with the Platts at their cabin in Lake Panorama. We had a blast boating and swimming.
